Christmas Eve

Grandma Nancy, Grandpa Brian, and Bryce came to have Christmas Eve dinner with us!  Our bellies were filled with Ham, Grandma's famous rolls, funeral potatoes, and green beans.  We had some apple pie with whipped cream for dessert.

Next, was present time!!  The kids absolutely couldn't wait to open gifts.  They each got a gift from Sis. Solomon our neighbor in the afternoon, so they already had a taste of it.  They wanted more!! So, they were able to open Grandma and Grandpa's gifts and then Mom & Dad's traditional gift of P.J.'s.

WE LOVE UNCLE BRYCE!  He'll be missed when he is on his mission.
He'll get a lot of fan mail though!

Then Talon, Jace, and Rylee got all tucked into bed and they woke up at 1:15 a.m.!! (Jace and Talon)  Aggghhh!  That's a little bit early...present weren't opened until 6 a.m. as requested by Mom & Dad.

Elvis is Alive!

Travis' work party was at a restaurant called Henessey's downtown on Fremont Street.  There wasn't much to do except stand around and get a soda from the bar UNTIL...the entertainment started showing up.  First, it was a magician (no pics).  He was pretty funny.  He did the typical "pick a card" tricks, but then our favorite was when he put a cell phone inside a blown up balloon.  I also liked how he set his wallet on fire.  Anyway, next, while we ate some yummy dinner, Elvis showed up!  He walked in with his little karaoke machine and serenaded us.  It was...weird...and funny.  He was actually pretty good though.  His shiny jacket made for some bad pictures, but here are some:

I'll...have a blue..blue, blue, blue Christmas...

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

Talon's Class Christmas Party & Good-bye to Mrs. Allen

Talon's class had a Christmas party!  They decorated gingerbread houses and watched Mrs. Allen open her Christmas gifts. Lots of parents and siblings came to help (including Mom, Jace, and Rylee).  It was a full room!

SMILE!!!!!

GOOD-BYE MRS. ALLEN!!!  Mrs. Allen's husband is in the air force and they had to move Paso, Texas half-way through the year.  This was Mrs. Allen's last day.  She was pretty sad and almost made it to the end without crying, but when the class started chanting, "Stay! Stay! Stay! Stay!", her tears flowed.  Talon will really miss her!

Welcome to our family photo shoot at the Farm located at Grand Teton & Decatur in Las Vegas.  It's not far from our house, and it was PERFECT for our background.  Our wonderful friends, the Strommers took the photos. Chris Strommer was the camera man while his lovely wife, Ruth posed us.  Their 4 kids were also there which might have stressed out the photographer a little, but he did great anyway.  We were so happy with how they turned out.  It was a fun outing as well.  We got some Christmas cards done, but not all of them were given out.  Oh well, next year!
