2015 Summer Random Fun

There's been a lot of fun this summer.  The perfect amount of action and down time.  Even in the desert heat, we manage to have some cloudy days to get outside, and then at night as the sun goes down, the grassy park cools us off enough to play.  We've fed neighbors dogs, had 4th of July at Aunt Kai's, we've had sleepovers at Grandma and Grandpa's house...and we still have the cabin trip.  We leave tomorrow!  I'll post about it as soon as I can.  Probably will post when I do back to school pictures because as soon as we get back---school is back in session.  (Mom has mixed feelings.  I will definitely miss my boys and Rylee when she goes to preschool.  But I will be helping at the elementary school a lot, so I hope that helps!)

Summer Trip 2015 #1

Idaho Trip!!

We were invited to cousin A.J. Loveland's wedding. He married a sweet girl named Alex, and they were sealed for all time and eternity in the Logan temple. Our kids waited outside with fun cousins while Mom and Dad witnessed the sealing. The Logan temple is beautiful!

We attended the luncheon afterwards in Logan. There was s waffle bar with a ton of delicious toppings!

Later that night there was a reception on Clinton, Utah. Yummy cookies and white or chocolate milk was a hit. Along with the photo booth!

Our family stayed at "Uncle" Dino's. Dino and his wife Kathy are Travis' cousins and A.J.'s parents. They were so nice to accommodate us. The kids loved the tractor swing and teeter totter! Also, they loved the farm animals and dogs and four wheeler rides.

We made a stop at Scheels and then an extra spontaneous stop in Cedar City to stay in a hotel and go swimming!!!!!!

The kids can't wait to go back!!

Spring Break Fun!

I don't know if it's the kids or me who is most excited for spring break!  I am enjoying have the kids home, no homework, and more fun and relaxing.

This was today.  We were invited to the Troxells to decorated easter eggs.  It was the first time for us using Kool-Aid to dye the eggs.  It worked really good, and it smells much better too!

Sleepover on the trampoline!  Two nights in a row -- we challenged them to sleep out every night, but a horrible wind changed plans.

WARD EGG HUNT
There wasn't a formal activity planned for Easter, so the ladies in the ward, mainly Aurie Jenkins, planned one.  We met on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.  There was yummy food and games.  Each child found 11 eggs.  All the candy from our baskets were gone by the afternoon!

So after the egg hunt, we had a playdate at our house.  5 extra kids came to play with us!  Landon and Braddoc Jenkins, and the Russell girls, Hayden, London, and Chloe.  It was chaotic fun!  It calmed down a bit for the Otterpops and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!
